Sea Shepherd Italy

The mission of Sea Shepherd Italy is to protect marine wildlife and end the destruction of habitat in the world’s oceans. Sea Shepherd uses innovative direct action tactics to defend, conserve and protect the delicately-balanced biodiversity of our seas and enforce international conservation laws.

Dr. Bronner’s Italy supports Sea Shepherd Italy to expand their patrols of the Plemmirio Marine Protected Area, defending and protecting threatened marine species in the Mediterranean from poaching and fishing industry pollution. Due to their patrols, Monk Seals have returned to the Plemmirio Marine Protected Area after they were missing for more than 60 years prior to the patrols.
