Sbelal Kuxlejalil

Sbelal Kuxlejalil – which means “The Way of Good Living” in the indigenous Mayan Tzeltal language – is an organization that promotes ecological initiatives aimed at Tzeltal women aged 18 to 60 years. Led by Indigenous women, the organization promotes the self-sufficiency of families and Indigenous communities through regenerative agriculture, construction and use of environmentally friendly eco-technologies, and the training of women in community leadership roles.

Dr. Bronner’s Mexico supports Sbelal Kuxlejalil’s work in promoting food sovereignty and regenerative agriculture for Indigenous communities in Chiapas, Mexico.
