Animal Justice is Canada’s only national animal law advocacy organization. Their legal team works to protect animals from cruelty and neglect. Animal Justice leads the legal fight for animals in Canada where some of the most outdated and harmful animal protection laws exist in the Western world. Their mission is to overhaul the legal system to better reflect their country’s values of compassion and justice for all.

Whether animals are used for food, fashion, experiments, entertainment, or in the pet trade, the Animal Justice legal team fights for the legal protections that these animals desperately need and deserve.

Animal Justice also advocate extensively in the court of public opinion through media outreach and multi-media campaigns leveraging online videos and billboards, undercover exposés, and strategic initiatives.

Dr. Bronner’s Canada has contributed funds to support Animal Justice to continue their work to pass strong new animal protection laws, push to hold industries accountable for widespread animal suffering, and give animals a voice in courtrooms across the country—including in the fight against new “ag gag” laws that seek to punish whistleblowers and undercover animal activists who expose cruelty in animal agriculture.
