Anima France

anima france

Anima France (formerly Assiettes Végétales) is a nonprofit organization in France working to end intensive farming practices that cause animal suffering, with a primary focus on eliminating the use of cages in egg production. Through research, advocacy, and corporate accountability, Anima France seeks to transform food systems toward higher animal welfare standards.

A key initiative of Amina France is Empreinte Souffrance, a collaboration with the organization Data For Good that brings to light the work of the Welfare Footprint Institute whose research makes it possible to quantify animal suffering on farms.

The project aims to widely publicize the findings in the media and allow consumers to better understand the animal suffering associated with their food choices.

Dr. Bronner’s France supports Anima France by funding staff working on the Empreinte Souffrance project, helping to increase public awareness and drive systemic change for animal welfare.
