Dr. Bronner’s Spring Cleans Your Makeup Brushes!
February 8, 2016
Just like brushing your teeth and taking off waterproof mascara before bed, there are a lot of boring but important things in life we have to do! And now, as make up trends demand a different brush for every nook, crease and cranny of our complexions, washing our makeup brushes has become one of those chores.
Just as we would our winter wardrobes, Dr. Bronner’s is helping implement a new spring-cleaning regime, not only to keep makeup brushes clean and hygienic but to keep our complexions in the best possible condition. As the go-to deep cleansing product for leading make-up artists including Bobbi Brown, Dr. Bronner’s Pure-Castille Soaps ensure that this year, your make up brushes will smell of nothing more than a fresh start!
With a staggering 65% *of us washing our brushes LESS than once a month, and a further 25%* admitting to not washing them at all, it’s no surprise that bacteria (the leading cause of breakouts and other adverse skin reactions) makes itself at home amongst our dirty bristles.
Using Organic and Fair-Trade ingredients, Dr. Bronner’s natural formula effectively removes dead skin cells, germs, dirt and even the toughest of make-up residues to keep brushes fresh, natural and squeaky clean. Free from any harsh and synthetic chemicals, you can use Dr. Bronner’s Liquid soaps time and time again without the risk of damage – no matter how expensive your kit. The combination of extra virgin olive and jojoba essential oils will keep even the finest of bristles super soft, making the soaps perfect for all skin types.
Available in Unscented Baby Mild and eight other spring-zingy scents, including Peppermint, Lavender, Green Tea, Eucalyptus, Citrus, Almond, Rose, and Tea Tree, it’s time to say goodbye to dirty brushes and start afresh with Dr. Bronner’s!
Dr. Bronner’s is available nationwide including Fenwick’s Brent Cross and Newcastle, John Lewis London and Birmingham and online at: www.drbronner.co.uk

Note to Editors
Emanuel Bronner was a third generational soap maker who spent his life renouncing hate and war on a personal mission to unite mankind. His strong views and lectures landed him in a mental asylum in Chicago, but eight months later in 1948, Bronner escaped and continued with his message in California. During this time, he also began making peppermint liquid soap under the ‘Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps’ brand. He gave away soap during his talks but soon realized people were taking it without listening to him speak. As a result, he started writing his philosophy on the bottle in tiny script, which is still used on Dr. Bronner’s packaging today.
