Our Fair Trade and Organic Alcohol comes from sugar cane that has traditionally been farmed in the steep hills of the Bolivar and Cotopaxi provinces of Ecuador. Our supplier, a cooperative called CADO, pays its members a fair price for their organic alcohol and a “social premium” which goes into community projects.
Our Fair Trade and Organic Palm Oil comes from palm fruits sustainably harvested and processed in Ghana’s eastern region. The project is owned and coordinated by Serendipalm, a sister company of Dr. Bronner’s.
Palestine & Israel
Our Fair Trade and Organic Olive Oil comes from Palestine and Israel. We source the highest-quality oil from the Canaan Fair Trade project in the West Bank, the Sindyanna Project in the Nazareth region of Israel, comprised of Arab-Israeli producers, and the Strauss (Jewish) family farm in Israel.
Avocado, Tea Tree, and Coconut Oil
Our Fair Trade and Organic Avocado Oil, Tea Tree Oil and Coconut Oils in part come from various Fair Trade projects in Kenya.
